Pierre Massé is currently a PhD candidate in the Acoustic and Cognitive Spaces group of the STMS (Sciences et Technologies de la Musique et du Son) lab at IRCAM (Institut de Recherche et Coordination Acoustique/Musique). His thesis is on the analysis and manipulation of room reverberation effects in a 3D/surround sound paradigm. A list of recent publications stemming from this work can be found here.

Besides his research work, Pierre has two musical projects currently on the go: Qirule is leftfield, experimentally-produced, groove-searching electronica and Paramestre is electronic-ish loop-based so-called "indie" guitar-and-voice (hyphens were on special).

Pierre's favourite colour is blue; additional concerns may be adressed here.
